In a further effort to weed out sleeper agent bots (the kind that either register and dump a crappy link into their profile and leave or post just enough to get said link out into the open), I've re-instated the registration bans on pretty much all free email domains. This means that if you don't have a working address you can use, aren't a bot and want to actually register at the forum then you'll need to contact someone on the site's staff page (i.e. Sentroid91, since he's the most likely to respond) and have them set up an account for you to use.
In addition, I've also disabled the ability for regular users to edit personal info in their forum profiles. In recent months, I've noticed a sly little trend that the bots use where they'll leave fields blank initially and then slip back days later to drop in a few links to whore out what the hell ever product du jour it is they came here to whore out in their signatures, etc.
Lastly, I've recently mass emailed all existing users in the Members group to check for general activity/interest in keeping their long dormant accounts. If you're one of these individuals, I urge you to find the thread in the forum (Activity Check) and post in it to spare your account from getting pruned (permanently deleted).
