So the time was finally at hand. Comic-Con! The things i've heard seemed nothing like viewing the floor in person. I tried calling Dana to see what his agenda was... he said we'd try to set something up sometime on Friday and maybe we'd bump into each other today or something. We scoped the [as] booth again, pretty much the same as Wednesday night, except now they had a few more items such as a fountain and a suggestion box. In addition, employees and voulenteers began to pass out the postcard books which may or may not contain 1 of 5 golden tickets to the after party (or the booze cruise as Dana called it.) We grabbed them respectively and called Rebecca to see what she was up to... apparently they were already there, but looking at stuff on the opposite side of the complex. We figured we'd look around a bit and double back to the [as] booth to meet Rebecca, Chuck, and company. Then I noticed a familiar face at the [as] booth. Thom Foolery, who interned during the fall of last year, and became a production assistant shortly after the new year, was helping out with the construction of the booth. Having only chatted it up once every so often on AIM, I went over and introduced myself we talked a bit about Perfect Hair, Tom Goes to the Mayor, and a few other things. I dropped some ATC.com stuff on him and we took off for the back part of the complex.

The [as] Postcard Books. I have about 50 of 'em.
After getting lost amongst a sea of V for Vendetta masks and random cereal mascot Bobbleheads, we made our way to the closest piece of interest: The Mega64 booth. For those who aren't familiar with Mega64, their comedy is somewhat similar to that of The Tom Green Show (the original, not the talk show) or Jackass, except for the fact that instead of harrassing people with zany stunts... they parody classic and recent video games... while they harrass people with zany stunts. The Version 2 DVD they released at Comic-Con also intertwines these parodies with elaborate storylines. It becomes quickly apparent that for the most part, the show is greatly inspired by Mystery Science Theater 3000 (which makes it ever more better...er...er.)
Anyhoo.... we finally found the booth, inhabited by its creators Derrick, Rocco, and Shawn. The M64 crew were pimping out their Wheel of Mystery which they take with them to numerous functions (including Comic-Con) which they let passerby's spin in order to get prizes or else other random items including editing the name on your Comic-Con badge, Love Doctor (where the boys take you over to a guy who gives you love advice, Name that Tune (they hum a random song and you have to guess), I even heard they had "Game Broken" where they practically take the game down. Well, after about 2 minutes of Smaddy completely scaring the crap out of me in regards to spinning... I finally sucked it up and spun..... nada... not even Love Doctor.... damn. Smaddy got Name that Tune. Then I bought the DVD.

Smaddy, and I got lost trying to find the Mega64 booth. I stopped and asked Giant Bobblehead Franken Berry for directions.
After that was all done, we made our way back to the [as] booth where we met up with Becca and Chuck. It was then decided that we go to whatever we felt like going to... Becca, Chuck, and Co. went with me to the Hasbro Panel for Transformers. We had assumed that info on the movie would be made availible... we thought wrong. Basically 45 minutes of the panel was dedicated to the upcoming figure series. The final 15 (which was probably the most interesting) was dedicated to the 20th Anniversary Edition of the original Movie. By that time Becca and Chuck had vanished, they claimed they had to use the restrooms but I figured as much they were probably bored. Aaron and Erica were right behind me... sleeping. So by the time the panel ended we stuck together. I called Becca and told everyone to meet back at the [as] booth... but as I was going back down to the main level, I got a nice surprise...
We caught up with The Snyde in the lobby of Comic-Con.
Dana takes random pics for his imeem. I'm not a very good hand model.
I couldn't have done it if I tried, but I ended up running into not only Dana and his friend B. Studler (Professional Novelist) but they were also with Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick (the creators of Venture Brothers.) As Dana conversed with the two, I made the call to Becca to let them know that I found The Snyde. Then we call chatted it up... Dana took some pics for his imeem blog. Then he told me to call him tomorrow morning to see what was going on with him. Rebecca and her crew were pretty much spent and wanted to leave... Smaddy, Chiclo, and I did a bit more walking (because I felt really gypped by that TF panel and wanted to see more.) We went to hit the Rooster Teeth booth so I could grab the Season 4 DVD of Red Vs Blue, but not before Chiclo stopped dead in his tracks and embarrassed himself in front of Q from Star Trek: TNG.
After all the goings on, we went back to the hotel. Later on we'd meet back up with Becca's crew as well as with Squee and her friend Alyssa at Denny's for dinner (or in my case breakfast.) Afterwards we tried getting back into the meeting room... we of course assumed it was open all night... it wasn't. x_x So Becca and Chuck took us fishing for wifi... but we pretty much failed at doing so. After that we went back to the hotel, Aaron and Erica stopped by and we had some drinks. It was then that I had my own personal booze cruise. Ah vodka... my bane of existance. I'd honestly wish they would have told me sooner what Hypnotiq was. I don't recall much from that night except Chiclo insisting on giving me Advil. I apologized profusely since it wasn't typical of me to get THAT drunk... but apparently someone has video of the happening (I really don't want to know.) and apparently the words "Ray Charles" "Froot Loops" and "Touring in Korea" came out of my mouth.... I REALLY don't want to know.
